The Malaysian government announced last week it intends to ban the sale of all vaping products. The ban will be implemented in stages, beginning with open-system (refillable) products.

The FDA Center for Tobacco Products is planning to fast-track marketing authorization for four brands of nicotine pouches, following pressure from the White House. 

Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, California retailers will be limited to selling only vape, nicotine pouch and tobacco products included on the state’s new Unflavored Tobacco List. All other products will be illegal and subject to enforcement.
